Day 01 : Leh to Lamayuru Drive
After your breakfast drive to Lamayuru for 3-4Hrs via visiting to Alchi, 11th century monuments and fresco painting. It is popularly known as the Ajanta of North India, One of the amazing painting at this site and then drive further to Lamayuru. Overnight camp/Guesthouse/Hotel at Lamayuru.
Day 02 : Lamayuru to Wanla trek from for 3 hrs and camp at Wanla.
Trek from Lamayuru to Wanla via Prinkiti la and reach to Wanla village. Overnight camping at Wanla.
Day 03 : Wanla - Hinju 3720m (4-5 hrs)
After breakfast you will start your trek following a dusty road where you will reach to the small village of Phenjilla (3410 m) and the scattered village of Ursi. Then walk through a narrow gorge until you reach a traditional small flour mill at the far end of the village The trail will then cut through the village of Hinju (3720 m), roughly 2 km below our campsite in a yak herder's encampment. Overnight stay at camp at Hinju.
Day 04 : Hinju - Sumda Doksa 4430m (5-6 hrs)
After breakfast set again from the encampment and then continue along the trail, and ascend the ridge below Kongskil La (4950m).You may get a glimpses of some wild lives around. Then climb gradually until you reach to Kongskil La, where we can see the dizzying views of the Karakoram and Stok ranges. The descent down the trail is quite steep, with slack moraine causing the difficulty--so be careful! The trail then follows the left side of valley floor, passing a yak herders' hut (4500m), before you reach to the campsite. The valley is occupied by the villagers of Sumda Chenmo. Overnight camp at Sumda Doksa.
Day 05 :Sumda Doksa - Dung Dung Chan la base 4430m(4-5 hrs)
After a very good breakfast set again and take a short walk and a few river crossings, and then you will reach to the village of Sumda Chenmo . From here you head towards the true left side of the valley, which provides as beautiful view of the village, with its lush greenery. Further on, the trail cuts through the valley's wild rose bushes and leads us to another river crossing (this stream originates from the high snow-capped peaks of Photoksar (5685m). Before making a steep, challenging ascent over Lanak, You will see Edelweiss and some of the other rare wild flowers of Ladakh. From the campsite, there is a splendid view of Konskila.
Day 06 : Dung Dung Chan La base - Chilling 3550m (5 hrs)
After breakfast you will begin the day with a unchallenging climb to Dungdung Chan La (4820m), which offers views of the beautiful landscape of the Stok Range in the east, and the Zanskar Range in the south. From the pass, the trail gradually descends down a ridge toward the valley, continually narrowing before reaching the village of Chilling. This village is the only village in Ladakh that has provided metal works such as copper, bronze, tin, silver and iron to Leh market through the centuries. Once the King of Ladakh invited expert sculptors from Nepal to provide work in Leh and then they were offer land at Chilling, thus the people settled down here and their ancestral continues the work till dates. Overnight camp at Chilling village.
Day 07 : Chilling to Leh 3hrs.
After a lazy breakfast drive back to Leh via following the Zanksar river and then arrive at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar and then still drive further to Leh
