Best time to trek in Ladakh
You need to select your routes/itinerary based on the time you visit. If you are going for the frozen river trek, then the best time to visit is from mid-January to Feb. For a normal trek and to lower part of the valley on the Himalayan region of Ladakh, the best time is from May to October. If you are opting for a moderate and strenuous trek in Ladakh, then the ideal time would be from June to November. The adventure seekers mostly prefer the Zanskar valley trek & high altitude trek of Changthang area. Junglam trek via Markha to Padum is the most adventurous and strenuous trek in Ladakh for 3weeks and the best time for this trek could be from Sept to October.
