Pallas's Cat (Otocolobus manul) Ribilik local name; is found in eastern Ladakh between 3000-4800m. This cat appears in a compact body structure, low limbs, short rounded & widely patted ear set low on the sides of the broad head. The color of the body is silver grey. The fur on its under parts & tail is comparatively longer than that on the rest of the body. Pallas's cat feed on the small mammals like pika and rodents. It also feed on birds sometime and the male is slightly heavier than female. The cat attains sexual maturity after a year. The weights between 3-4 Kg & Recorded longevity is up to 10-11 years
