Day 01: Delhi – Leh
After an exciting flight from Delhi through the great Himalayas to Leh, we receive you at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche airport, Leh and transfer you to hotel for a complete rest for better acclimatization. Take a short walk to the local market in evening time.
Day 02: Lower Indus tour and Rafting.
After breakfast drive to Chilling village and then raft down to the confluence (Samgam) for 3 hrs and then have hot lunch at the camp side and drive further to visit to the most popular Alchi, the 11th century fresco painting. It is also called Ajanta of North India. Spend plenty of time at this ancient time and drive back to Leh.
Day 03: Leh to Nubra Valley through World’s Motorable Road 18380fts Drive.
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motor-able road in the World). Arrive at Deskit by Afternoon. Rest of the day it is free to Explore the valley and evening camel Safari in Sand Dunes. Feel relax here and overnight stay hotel here.
Day 04: Nubra Valley – Pangong lake via Shayok valley crossing Shayok river. 140Kms drive/4Hrs
After a good breakfast drive to Pangong via Shayok Valley crossing the Shayok river. Pangong lake is an endothecia lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m (14,270 ft). It is 134 km (83 mi) long and extends from Ladakh (India) to China. Approximately 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. The lake is 5 km (3.1 mi) wide at its broadest point. All together it covers 604 kms. During winter the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. It is not a part of Indus river basin area and geographically a separate land locked river basin. The brackish water of the lake has very low micro-vegetation. On the other hand, visitors see numerous ducks and gulls over and on the lake surface. There are some species of scrub and perennial herbs that grow in the marshes around the lake. The lake acts as an important breeding ground for a variety of birds including a number of migratory birds. During summer, the Bar Headed goose and Brahmin ducks are commonly seen here. The region around the lake supports a number of species of wildlife including the Wild Ass (Kiang) and the Himalayan marmot. Overnight stay in camp at the lake side.
Day 06: Pangong Lake to Leh via Crossing Changla pass
To witness, the Sun rise at this lake side, you may wake up very early morning and enjoy the sun rise at this crystal blue lake, enjoy the calm and serenity of this quite place and later on enjoy your breakfast and leave this side to Leh via Crossing the Second high motorbale road, Changla pass and reach to Leh in the evening. Explore Leh market for the last time and overnight stay hotel in Leh.
Day 07: Leh to Delhi
Leave early morning to Leh Airport for onward journey to Delhi with the sweet memories of Ladakh-Himalayas!
